Venturi Calibration Services
is an exclusive partner company of SEIKO Flowcontrol for calibration of Flow Elements. Venturi Calibration Services (VCS) has built the biggest hot-water calibration plant in Europe, with the newest generation of Instrumentation and Automation Equipment, completely made? of stainless steal components, built and commissioned since April 2011. The straight undisturbed straight length to install the flow devices is 45m and it is possible to measure flow elements up to the maximum nominal diameter of 1200mm. The calibration is also possible with welded ends, it is unnecessary to weld additional flanges. The pumps have an installed power of 2 x 350kW with a total pump capacity of 3400m3/h at 80°C (3rd pump to possibly increase the mass flow up to 5,100m3/h is planned for 2012). Two Deverters with two cage cylinder control valves for high-precise adjustment of a regulated flow and 2 scales with HBW weighing technology take care of the most precise determination of the mass flow in the current market. In the standard version, there are four pressure ranges from 0 to 100/600/2000/5000mbar available for up to four simultaneously detectable upstream/downstream pressure taps for a system pressure up to 7.5bar. However, special configurations with higher system and differential pressures are also possible in the calibration plant.
