Orifice Assembly

For applications demanding a high accuracy flow measurement from the flow element, the upstream and downstream pipe section must be included to a so called meter run assembly.

The meter run assembly can be delivered both for welding and flanged installation. Meter run assemblies can be calibrated for ultimate accuracy in certified calibration laboratories.

The upstream section will be supplied with a standard length of 10D of straight pipe, which will be machined inside to be qualified for the ISO 5167 requirements. The downstream section has a standard length of 4D.

If required, the meter run assembly can be equipped with special tappings designed to mount directly a differential pressure transmitter and manifold assembly to the pipe.

The typicall accuracy for a calibrated meter run assembly is in the range of 0,15-0,25%.
